A/Mo Solo Vaettir's Farm [HM]
Hello everybody, and just to start with I didnt make this build myself I found it on here:http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:A/any_Vaettir_Farm
This is my first video on youtube that includes Guild Wars and its also my first guide on the forum I think this is an old farm, but the true fact is that I just wanted to test how good I were in this, so here we go!
First I want to show you the video and then more detailed information about build, inscription and mods comes later...
Running through Bjora Marches:
First of all remember that this farm can only be done in Hard Mode. The farm are located in Jaga Moraine and the best way to get there is by running through Bjora Marches from Longeye's Ledge This picture shows a safe way through Bjora Marches without meeting on any foes, beware of Frost Wurms, they can randomly pop up from the ground, so be ready with you SF!
Now here are some important information about the build and the mods.
Template code: OwNT4Y/8ZiH5ASnhVEi4eILSeAA
Build:
Deadly Paradox
Shroud of Distress
Shadow Form
Great Dwarf Armor
Balthazar's Aura
Symbol of Wrath
Kirin's Wrath
Balthazar's Spirit
Equipment:
Weapons: Totem Axe and any Shield with the inscription "Like a Rolling Stone"
Maxed armor set: All Blessed with Blessed Insignias and Rune of Attunement,
Headgear: Shadow Art +1, Blessed with Blessed Insignia and Assassin Rune of Superior Shadow Arts +3 Shadow Arts -75 health
WARNING: If you not have the correct enchantments spells, the correct build or not even a maxed armor this farm will fail
Usage:
Always use Deadly Paradox before you use Shadow Form , this is so Shadow Form can recharge faster and then you can maintain Shadow Form forever. To survive this farm its important to always maintain these four enchantment spells: Shadow Form to prevent the enemies using spells on you, Shroud of Distress in case you drop below half health, Balthazar's Spirit to get enough energy and Great Dwarf Armor for extra armor. When you have all the Vaettir's balled up around you like in my video, begin with using Balthazar's Aura because it recharge fastest, then Symbol of Wrath and Kirin's Wrath and then Balthazar's Aura again. This should hit all of their health if done correctly.
When you have cleaned the place for the 60 Vaettir's just enter the portal to Bjora Marches and then go back to the Vaettir spawn again through the same portal from Bjora Marches.
Values and time:
I runned the farm three times and calculated the average of the loots.
So this is about what you will get each round: 3 Snowman Summoners - 1-2 Eggnogs - 2-3 Gold Weapons - 3-4 Fruitcakes - 1-2 Glacial Stones -
0-1 Tonic - 104 gold coins. Ofcourse this was only for three rounds, you also have a chance of getting black dye, purple weapons and mesmer tomes.
One round takes about 3 minutes and 35 seconds from when you enter Jaga Moraine till you pick up the last loot.
The farming spot contains 60 Vaettir's and you get 18 000exp from killing all of them in HM without any exp scroll or something like that. (This was how I got my Legendary Survivor Title) Also you get about 154 norn reputation points, ofcourse I cant say exactly how many because of the various bonuses you get but you get from 130-200 norn reputation points I can say.
Counters they will always be there:
Failing to maintain the enchantments. (Especially SF)
Taking to much damage. (This will only happen if you dont got right equipment or if you fail to maintain GDA or SoD)
Bodyblock
Not enough energy (Will only happen if you dont remember to use BS as soon as you enter Jaga Moraine)
Counters while running:
A Frost Worm coming out of the ground.
Running into random foes like Jotun's wich youre not preaperd to meet.
Running the wrong way -.-
I would call this an easy farm.
Please tell me what you think about my guide for Solo Vaettir's Farm in Hard Mode Enjoy

Very nice and detailed guide, but I've seen many of them. You add drops to sea.

Swear ive just entered a timewarp and gone back almost 2 years.
Sorry to say but 2 years ago when shadowform have a change of job - we had the a/me and a/mo varients come out.Infact even with a quick search on the forum you would have found all the info needed - armor, runes, weapon mods etc.
Nice try tho but old news.
Btw i believe theres also variations for necros/rangers/paragons and war & derv can also do it - thought id say before anyone decides to try them and post.

Yes, it is. But ppl still prefer "easier" A/Mo. As for me A/Me is better.
Notice, that if you get 40^40 smiting set A/Mo becomes faster than A/Me.

Might be worth mentioning that you have to complete Blood Washes Blood before the full 60 vaettir will appear.

Great guide - as it says: if you have all the skills, armor and weapons, there is no way you can fail. I kill the mobs in 2 groups and i have a gold drop every run (nothing more, nothing less). 15k XP is awarded after every run and that`s a great way to max the survivor title. The Jotuns can be avoided but the worm - man that crappy worm is starting to piss me. 3 runs to the vaetir zone, 2 times the worm pops up. What should i do to loose that sucker?

Well, as I see it the wurm will only appear at near the entrace to Jaga Moraine. And before the last hill before the portal it is a layer of ice on the ground, I always use to walk over this path as the frost wurm never (as I have seen) have appeard there. More than that I dont think its possible to avoid it.
